THE HUNGRY MOON

Verse nursery tales and folk tales drawn from Mexican sources and illustrated by the famous Mexican artist, Carlos Merida -- these are stories that are chosen for their appeal to American children as well. Again a good book for family reading aloud, and adults will appreciate it for the pictures, unusual, distinctive in color and design, and for the humor of the stories, and the easily digested morals in fable fashion. Four to eight year olds will like them- and second graders could read them alone.
