THE CASTLE OF THE DEMON

Nothing is quite what it seems including the title which suggests that other genre -- this is a lighter weight spy story and the restoration touches are medieval since it takes place on the Grune or the groyne where the Green Knight of Gawain once rode and where Emily Follett goes to stay at the suggestion of her husband who no longer loves her and is betraying his country. He will of course be replaced. Written in one breath but at least it doesn't gasp.
