MURDER BUTTONED UP

A very Front Page reporter, Ken Sutton, responsible for breaking a triple killing and outsmarting the police. Belief in a gambler's innocence, and loyalty to the managing editor, who is also accused, keep Sutton finding inspiration in a bottle and a babe, while a timetable and a long distance hunch completely button up the deaths of three publishers of his paper. Sutton follows the rules for a newspaper story- the right facts, in the right sequence, rightly interpreted- turns in a good job.
