CAR OWNER'S HANDBOOK

There was a book published in the early years of gasoline rationing called You Can Make Your Car Last. That was perhaps four years ago. And we are most of us still making our cars last. Here's a book for those who are determined to spread that pre-war car over another year or so; and for all car owners who want to get the most out of their cars. The early chapters are a concentrated course on what constitutes the make-up and the functions of automobile safety and economy in keeping the car on the road at least cost and greatest efficiency. There are hints on diagnosing troubles, avoiding expensive repairs hints, too, on preventive maintenance. Anyone- of any age- who wants to know what goes on out of sight will find that section of the text illuminating reading, deserving close study.
