WHITE SNOW, BRIGHT SNOW

A lovely idea, this, of the excitement that snow brings, with all it means to children and not-too-hardened grownups, too. There's a lovely sound to the text, and appealing pictures by Roger Duvoisin in soft, misty grey blues, shocking yellow and bright red. An attractive book, without very much dramatic appeal for children -- not the sort of book they want to go back to. Large format- lively jacket and pastedown design on board covers, with white background, light weight board- perishable.
