THE CARE AND FEEDING OF TWINS

The first of its kind on two of a kind, this personally experienced guidance previews most of the problems the mother of twins will face and is particularly aware of the practicalities of bringing up two at the same time- certainly in the earliest months. From prenatal care to the birth of the new babies, this goes on to sleeping-feeding- bathing- clothing and toileting them, synchronizing schedules when possible but emphasizing at all times the ways in which to increase their individuality. The social problems, of identification which is more difficult, solidarity and insularity, are not neglected- nor are factors of school and play, illness, schedules, etc. All in all, a firm assist for the mother and father (he is not ignored) who has been doubly blessed- and there are blithe line drawings.
