TREM McRAE AND THE GOLDEN CINDERS

Good adventure story, though it stretches the imagination a bit, with accounts of mysterious treasure hunting via airplane, of asbestos diving suits for trips into the heart of a volcano in a far-off island of the Pacific. There's a villain -- and his associates -- to make it extra thrilling, and Trem McRae, sixteen and an Eagle Scout, and his fat friend, manage to be in on the whole expedition and to distinguish themselves from start to finish.
