THE PROSPECT OF IMMORTALITY

A banquet of bizarre prospects...Mr. Ettinger, well sponsored, has researched the possibilities of a freezing program for the sick and the dead that presents the possibility of immortality for everyone. He explores the scientific techniques available and those on the verge of discovery as well as all the marginal problems of insurance, trust funds, whether or not it would be fair to raise a suicide from the dead, etc. There is cold comfort in this kind of programmed frigor mortis, but, hoax or hokum, it's an ingenious application of a vanguard concept.
