A blockbuster volume whose author says he was a CIA contract employee privy to the successful efforts of CIA and FBI-connected right-wing extremists to murder President Kennedy. Morrow, reportedly scheduled to testify on material he supplied to the Senate's Church Committee, says that he flew a secret mission to detect Soviet missile installations during the Bay of Pigs invasion--which was just a cover for his own operation. After JFK not only sat on the fact of the missiles but moved to curb the CIA's power, he was a marked man. Morrow himself settled down to counterfeiting Cuban currency to help subvert Castro, but alleges intricate details of how CIA-FBI agent Oswald was set up as fall guy for the actual three hit squads in Dallas; how a CIA stringer caught in the plot not only couldn't alert the FBI but was afraid of them and his own agency; how an ""ex""-FBI agent masterminded the plot with CIA employees Clay Shaw, Jack Ruby, Donald Ferric, and various narcotics traffickers. The book, written in lean-jawed thriller style, also claims that Castro agents raped a brunette Adam Clayton Powell paramour with a ten-inch knife (a redheaded student CIA liaison and a blonde CIA nuclear engineer are the other featured females). This won't necessarily detract from the book's enhancement of the thesis that the assassination implicates the so-called intelligence community. Large promotion announced, large readership expected.
