A variant of the Pontecorvo- Nunn May- Burgess Maclean story is no less exciting for its familiarity- and reconstructs- and projects- another double disappearance behind the iron curtain. A newspaper man, through inferences and occasional references- is attracted by M.P. Matthew Chance, and an anonymous letter links him with an H- scientist, Lewis. As the investigation tightens, Lewis panics while Chance pursues his dedicated course which leads not to escape- but death... Accomplished.
