ALL IN FAVOR SAY NO

A real swinger at Senior High would be this crushing tankard of freshman humor in which the act of consuming quantities of beer is a high peak of merriment. Doke Dekker, of more scrubbed and of a cleaner living persuasion than most of the inhabitants of Bear Greek Canyon (a catch-all suburb for fellowship freeloaders), becomes one with the group after routing a red-necked sheriff who terrorized this outskirt of Peninsula U. The friendship of a carefree Indian and his girl, and life at the pub ease Deke's path, but when a Mrs. Alison Bojer moves in with two children and no husband past or present, Deke sees his way clear. In no time Deke and the sprouts are buddies, Alison and Deke are one, Deke makes it legal, Deke's missionary parents arrive, liquor and butts are whisked away and marriage is not mentioned. However, everybody's truckin' at the close when all can be told. A Wodehouse remnant without a scrap of the Master's genius.
