INTIMATE STORY

Claudia steps aside for Mrs. Gerry, a youngish (44) widow who has also lost a son and is now about to lose her daughter Marjorie as she marries John determined to do away with any maternal encroachment. Off to Europe, Mrs. Gerry meets a writer, Stephen, and, once home, finds Marjorie and John in real want during their pregnancy. Marjorie in turn disapproves of her mother's friendship with Stephen, but once she and John are out from under, Mrs. Gerry is free to take up a new happiness again. Appealing in its expected course of womanly concerns.
