An elephant who was the principal in an autographing party is the lead character in this unusual story. Eddie liked the fun of the party, but he didn't like going home, which presented a large problem to his hosts...for when an elephant resists a suggestion, he has a lot to support the resistance movement. The author is the head of the book section in the store which gave the party, and the artist, Susanne Suba has done an especially attractive jacket and end sheets, and four color and two color pictures throughout.
