RADIUM

A novelization of the financial and scientific history of radium, with the Curies as authentic characters, the settings authentic and the other characters probably drawn from real characters in the history of radium, seem mere puppets in the face of the real hero, radium itself. From the angle of sub-plot the story limps badly, but the story of the triumphant march of the metal itself makes this an interesting job.
