by Ruth Livingston Hill ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
A regenerative romance which preaches and prays its way through the maltreatment of Wynelle Williams, at the hands of some designing relatives, and Roger Blackstone, tarred by the community for his father's alleged murder of his mother. With Wynelle's inheritance of a house, left her by the grandmother who had befriended and reared Roger, she meets- and falls in love with Roger, is able- with his help-to circumvent her family's attempt to sell the house from under her, and the final reprise is one of gratitude when Roger's father-released from prison- is proved innocent. Sentiment cum salvation for an audience which has its firm foundations.
