Dark visions inspired by that ""wounded sensitivity,"" Edgar Allan Poe, in a collection of poems and stories. Unfortunately many turn out to be gothic frills rather than thrills. Can you imagine even a fictional Poe saying ""Somehow, I have just begun to live. Tonight I came here with my heart aflame. It seemed that a vision led me."" Hardly Poe-etic. There are certain outstanding pieces however, among them Robert Bloch's ""The Man Who Collected Poe"" (the memorabilia included the corpse); H. P. Lovecraft's seven identical Poes who came from outer space; and an impressive collaboration in which Robert Bloch completes one of Poe's unfinished stories, ""The Lighthouse."" Are there any other Poe collectors around?
