Not quite a substitute for the now out of print All About Feeding Children by Milton Senn & Phyllis Newill, this is largely about infant feeding, whether nursing or bottle- crying and what it may indicate, schedules, and the introduction of water, juices and solids. A little about the pre-school child, largely his attitudes to mealtimes and the older child, complete this guide for the new mother. But there are none of the particulars about menus and making meals attractive which made the earlier book useful for the mother up against a mutinous child. The information here you could almost find in any general book of child care.
