MY LIFE IS DONE

Just as East Norton, a small English town, is threatened by oil riggers and development interests, so is the career of a prominent political conservationist--he's the victim of blackmail. Antony Maitland--you know him well--takes over the enquiries in multiple instances of extortion and murder, while his Uncle Nicholas makes his usual last minute courtroom clincher appearance. As soothing as consomme and if you're starting with something as square and established as a bouillon cube, how can you go far wrong?
