THE DUDE RANCH MYSTERY

by Sharon Wagner ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 28, 1969

Dude ranch, dud mystery. Arriving for the summer, Sherry Carter wonders about the unexplained absence of ranch owner Vincent, her parents' friend who wrote about two weeks ago. Handy, handsome ranch hand Tony and k.p. colleague Roseanne are curious too because Greg Hayes and citified wife Sylvia don't behave like substitute managers. Sherry has a special touch for Firebrand, a wild red Arabian stallion she discovers enclosed in Hidden Valley, who leads her to find Mr. Vincent's hat. . . and then his coat buried in some rock slide rubble. Could those geologist guests looking for oil have some connection to the hocus pocus Hayes? Yup, but can they explain how such a flatfooted deception was pulled off in the first place?
