REVOLT ON THE BORDER

Well-paced yarn, and not a conventional Western, Romance -- adventure of the Trail, at moment when U. S. takes possession of New Mexico, and Santa Fe knows not to whom it belongs, and the army moves in ostensibly to ""protect"" trappers and settlers. The story is told by a mountain man, forced by circumstances to take a lovely Kentuckian over the Trail to Rent's Fort and Santa Fe.
