Down Mexico way, Acapulco where real gold is to be had after three chance-met turistas (a middle-aged homosexual, a father with a devoted mistress and a less loving son, and a widower) conduct a small mining operation with a lucrative -- like three million dollars -- result which keeps disappearing.
