Planned to ""sharpen our concept of freedom from want"", and to that end he analyzes post-war goals, and evaluates them in terms of available statistics. Those statistics are shocking -- and cry for change, as he discusses two main points, -- full employment and the national minimum (of food, shelter, health, clothing, education). He shows how the needs, the facilities and the objectives interlock, without sacrifice of free enterprise. A good addition to an excellent small series.
