FUN AT SEA

Time may be ripe for a handbook on how to behave and what to expect if you take your holiday on an ocean cruise. I don't think this is the book. There is, to be sure, a good deal of sound information on procedure, necessities of travel, the right clothes and incidentals, ship etiquette, to tip or not to tip, etc. But where information is presented it is done in such sweeping generalities that the inexperienced travelver would still wonder what it's all about. And most of it seemed to me forced humor, would be funny man stuff, and cheap in style. The ten types of escapists one meets in traveling at sea are amusing enough -- but that's about all.
