THE MOONLIGHTERS

Down Mexico way, in Fortune Bay a blackmailer is killed and it soon appears that Fortune is beach deep in golddiggers. Also digging away is Adam, an archaeologist who is not the first to discover that beneath the very proper surface, the local ladies are actually The Moonlighters...but for kicks, not cash. It's a sordid, messy scandal that shakes and breaks up most of the families involved. Miss Morrow is particularly adept at handling dialogue. She knows suburbia and skillfully handles her misguided matrons but her action is a little hyper.
