ALBERT THE ALBATROSS

The sailors are disheartened when after a storm their good-luck albatross is nowhere in sight. Meanwhile on land no one will tell Albert where the ocean is until he perches on the hat of a woman headed for an ocean voyage. How surprised she is to find her hat-bird a real bird, but how gleeful the shipmates are to welcome Albert home. Comical illustrations and simple text will insure a sense of accomplishment in the beginning reader.
