THE EAST COAST OF SOUTH AMERICA WITH SYDNEY A. CLARK

Clark has established a sound technique of traveling and applies it to this trip down the east coast, showing how to get the most out of a trip to Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. A travel guide, factual, practical, anecdotal. He gives the necessary information in advance (mode of travel, clothes, etc.); he gives the essential historical background; he analyzes the procedure. There is plenty of good advice on hotels, places to eat, things to eat, where to shop and for what. But his emphasis is on things to see, and how to see them. A good job, done with contagious enthusiasm.
