TIME FLIGHT

By reading a book ""Above Time"" two boys- Doug and his cousin Rich find themselves flipped back to 1692- into the midst of the Salem witch hunts. Among the people they meet and the adventures they have (you can pretty well imagine what they are) are the Mathers- Cotton, Ephraim and his son Misery, Matt, an old sailor, and Penitence and her fiance, Joseph Putnam. Doug and Rich lose the book and in their struggle to regain it, Misery, Penitence, Matt and Joseph help and their efforts see the quelling of Cotton Mather's suppression. Longstreth's jauntiness often masks some idea-worthy material.
