MURDER ON ALTERNATE TUESDAYS

Nash, professional criminologist, starts off in several directions at once in running down the murderer of a rather mysterious Greenwich householder, and gets involved in a confusion of commuters, gangsters, blackmail, smuggling et al. Helped by a newspaper man and a nightclub dancer, Nash gets the criminal, after two more deaths. Lots of red herrings, and plenty action but weakish on the sleuthing.
