Fraternal talks on paternal duties and dilemmas which cover peak problems in a casual fashion. There are a few new specifics--a section on wife-less or remarried fathers deals with the importance of presenting a continued image of home stability as well as, of course, love. There is a comforting word or two about father's role in the usually mother-dominated areas of health, training and sex education. The section dealing with religious education (of which the author approves highly) contains some courageous admissions that religious training may present problems as well as a child's ""self-realization."" Although most of this manual glides through familiar territory, and probably will appeal to wives as an oral reading exercise, it's as good as any nursery-tested magazine fare. Or Popular pointers.
