Hans Fischer, the Swiss artist whose picture books Pitschi (1953) and The Birthday (1954) won him wide recognition when they appeared here, has made some more of his happy and quite delightful drawings for this edition of the Grimm tale about the cat, the cock, the donkey and the dog who frighten the robbers away. It is a large book, well bound and typed, and with the comedy in the colored pictures, should have a good life.
