THE MOLE AND THE MOUSE

A re-issue of this British book -- one in the Cosy Corner series, again with the decorous, gentlemanly animals, in pictures and text. This time our mouse, finding himself homeless, contracts to move in with a mole who is writing his autobiography called, ""Gardens I have Spoilt"". A crisis comes when Mr. Mole is hunted, but the mouse and his new wife make another home (pictured with a china cabinet and clock on the wall) and take in Mr. Mole who acts as godfather to the children.
