Triple spinster threat murder tale, as New England sisters and their cousin come to New York to inherit a private detective agency. They are called in by a client who has found a headless corpse in his girl's room at a theatrical lodging house. Innocuous sister Lutie romps into the detecting game with glee, and confounds the N.Y. police with her solution of the crime and its background. A bit far-fetched, and verges on the coy.
