THE CURIOSITY OF MR. TREADGOLD

Short stories of the exploits of the Holmesian tailor, H. B. Treadgold, in untangling murders, robberies, kidnappings, etc. Solicitor Duckett plays Watson and rebels against too much quoting from Tristram Shandy. Solutions guessable, but that doesn't spoil the entertainment. With one exception, English backgrounds.
