SUPER SUITS

Or, what to wear while pushing back the frontiers of Antarctic darkness. . . fighting fires. . . diving for treasure or new oil supplies. . . bailing out at 60,000 feet. . . or stepping outside an orbiting spacecraft. Cobb describes the threats these extreme situations pose to physical survival, and Lippman provides double page, labeled sketches of conventional and newly tested outfits designed to protect against them. Lightweight material is of course de rigeur on such jaunts, and this could answer where the same holds true of reading needs.
