ADVENTURE ETERNAL

An interesting anthology, representing close to 500 people who have expressed their feeling on such timeless questions as life, death, immortality, re-incarnation. Passages in prose and verse, extracts from philosophers from earliest Greeks to present, with poetry restricted mainly to Anglo-Saxon tongue or translation. As Dimnet, who writes the preface, says:- ""this is a record of the intimations of another sphere."" The division into sections is not too arbitrary nor exclusive, the thoughts interlock. The selection is deliberately made from passages conveying an impression of tranquility, solace, hope; the aim is to instill faith for darker moments. Has value from literary angle as well, but market is suggested as gift for those in sorrow.
