A PLANNED PROGRAM FOR THE CHURCH YEAR

Planning"" seems to be a word to conjure with. We are to have a ""planned economy"", ""social planning"", ""an educational plan"", ""city planning"", etc. This is ""planning"" for the local church. It is all spelled out for the minister and his officers. Objectives and methods are described, organizational machinery blueprinted, time schedule suggested. For Protestant ministers who are primarily administrators and for others who need to be reminded that there is an administrative side to church work this handbook will be useful. The author is the pastor of a large Methodist Church and has written books on ""How to Increase Church Membership,"" ""How to Increase Church Income"", and ""How to Build Up Your Church School"". He should qualify as an expert on how to plan a church program.
