COYOTES

Companion volume to Turties, and a much better book. The text material is better organized; the vocabulary is simple enough for third grade readers- and advanced second graders; the combination of pictures, comic strip continuities and text is more cleanout than in the earlier volume of this natural science series. Furthermore, the similarity of coyotes and dogs makes the subject matter of special interest even to children to whom coyotes are an unknown quantity. Straight factual text-unfictionised.
