THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES: Daily Bible Study

Originally published for use in the Church of Beatland, its general usefulness has prompted an American edition. The study and translation, by William Barclay, aims ""to make the results of modern scholarship available to the non-technical reader in the form that does not require a theological education to understand, and then to make the teaching of the New Testament of books relevant to life and work today"". Making full use of other translations and commentaries, the author has produced a very graceful and useful book of such size that it may be conveniently carried in the student's pocket. It should serve a very valuable purpose as a Lenten study course.
