BIG KNIFE: The Story of George Rogers Clark

One of the top flight historical biographies, combining details which give the story real human interest, with an appealing picture of a glamorous figure, famous pioneer of Revolutionary days. The story takes him from his youth as neighbor and friend of Jefferson through pioneering days with Boone, to the campaign against the British and Indians. The rest of his life is given only in retrospect, when we see him as a broken old man. The narrative includes plenty of adventure and action, as well as stressing the strategic contribution of his deeds.
