GASOLINE JOCKEY

Good, hard tale, fast moving, with good background, even down to the successful use of the vernacular of wildcat trucking, tough (not vulgar) and convincing. The story of Bill Markey, partner to Ace McLane, old hand in the dangerous, nerve-ragged game of wildcat trucking night and day. Trouble by way of a rival line, led by a petty mobster who frames them, stages brawls, does everything to keep Bill and Ace off the road, and fails at the end.
