KILMAN'S LANDING

Another muzzled scenario as startling as Alice and Me in which George Waddy wakes up with a strong case of amnesia in Kilman's Landing, a.k.a. Killville, population 408, about to be 407. There he learns that the Landing has a ""perfect socialist community,"" one common endeavor--assassination, burying folks for a good reason and better fees. (The Landing was started by the only escapee after Lincoln was shot and they've been launching other political dispositions ever since.) Well, the story's as straight and fast as a bullet and you'll be too immobilized to even hear its whine.
