KICKOFF

Those who enjoyed The Mystery of the Ruined Abbey, which recounted some American adventures in Scotland, will like these Scotch adventures in America as they follow the experiences of Angus Fraser, an exchange student who comes to Drake School on Long Island. Angus is complete with burr, and makes a pleasing hero for this sports mystery. Of course he gets involved with football- not his kind at first though his playing skill soon makes it so. There is too, his team rival Todd, a boy with a chip on his shoulder; and there are thefts in the school for which Todd is blamed until he catches the culprit, and, through Angus, learns what friendship means. Cheery.
