THE TEAM THAT WOULDN'T QUIT

A basketball issue develops at Colville High and hangs most heavily upon the head of Doug Mason, team captain, who is accused of not providing the inspiring leadership his team needs. Brad Silvers, a star player whose life is all basketball, quits. So does a group of his friends. And further troubles are caused by Jerry Olson, school paper editor in whom Colville traditions ran deep enough to make him jealous of a relative newcomer, like Doug, trying to make over school spirit. Until he gets the help of a new player, Jeff, and later the forgiveness of Brad and Jerry, Doug must fight it out alone and learns a thing or two in the process himself. Community spirited.
