LAST STOP

Across Nebraska, in drenching rain, runs a train on which a handcuffed but happy prisoner is being taken to the penitentiary. Tried for murder, he had received a manslaughter ruling. Two passengers -- a lady reporter, and a man who knows too much for his happiness, and the tension builds as train and the storm take on the stature of prime characters. Competent suspense.
