MOONMILK AND MURDER

Those amiable archeologists, Tim Mulligan and Elsie Mae, on location in France this time where they find the body of a murdered man in a cave, later identified as a German collaborator during the war. Some mutilated rock carvings do not quite destroy a telltale message, and the defection of a WW II hero ends in disillusion for an old friend and a young brother. Veteran virtues here.
