WINTER'S TALES 10

This is England's equivalent of the Foley and O.Henry annuals here, and while this is a relatively younger series, its tenets of literary taste are well established. Three new writers are included, two Irish-Kevin Casey and Liam Lynch- and one British, Zeno, and the others, Brian Glanville, Shirley Hazzard, Olivia Manning, Gordon Meyer, Alan Sillitoe, Jean Stubbs and Frank Tuohy, all have excellent credentials. A quality showing for a quality readership.
