GEE WHILLIKINS

Young readers with an intimate knowledge of horses will scoff at the improbability of this boy-and-horse tale, but for the undiscriminating the tale is bland enough. Bryce acquires a golden palomino, when a beautiful wild colt whinneys up to him for help for a cut lag (here those in the know will drop out). Soon Bryce and the horse, Gee Whillikins, are inseparable, and together they help control a ranch fire.
