LET'S HAVE HEALTHY CHILDREN

A nutritionist's approach to child bearing and rearing which is chiefly through the digestive tract and in which the proper foods provide a panacea for almost all problems. Mrs. Davis, who is something of a fiend for vitamins (Vitamin D will assure you of a beautiful child) indicates the right diet before and during pregnancy (this will help to obviate anything from nausea to eclampsia); covers weight control; nursing; formulas and solid foods (the prepared baby foods come off poorly); health problems (colic, eczema, allergies, etc. all to be alleviated by diet) and she closes with a chart of foods with their vitamin content. A faddist to fanatic emphasis, and one questions whether you can lead your youngster to yeast and yogurt.
