KIRKUS REVIEW

For those keen about aviation the book is a must because it concentrates on the important but little-known or forgotten facts of the development of aviation. The classics of flight are of course included, as are the important military flights of both World Wars. Among the rare accounts are those of the Zeppelin raids, of Spanish Civil War flying, of Lindbergh as a war pilot and the first jet dogfights in Korea.
