A camping expedition on an island inhabited by rare birds is the happy fare of the Blake children and three of their young friends. In vain attempts to rescue a lumber spy and a thief, who turn out to be reputable citizens, they finally succeed in interesting the Audubon Society and summer visitors to the tune of several thousand dollars. This fund establishes the island as a bird sanctuary. Innocuous and run-of-the mill.
